Acryllic and Oil on canvass
30cm x 30cm
Yesterday I took part in a communal creative session at art jamming studio in Cape Town where a number of artists were invited to do an artwork for Cape Town band The Plastics’ new album Pyramid. We were each given a song for which we had to create a visual based on our understanding for the song.
Due to the transitional phase I find myself in at this point time with my work and the fact that I would like to leave Cape Town travel, I decided to paint my old studio with a hint of a seascape in it. I wanted to create something that gave the viewer imaginative freedom. You can literally climb up the ladder and look through the wall and see another world.
Check out The Plastics new album, Pyramid. and the following link to see the photos.
